New Business Items are 1-time actions that the WEA can do to support an issue. The Rep Council discusses, evaluates, amends, and approves New Business Items.

Our CAT (Contract Action Team) is a group of WEA Building Reps who engage in regular union-wide activism.  Send us your ideas for collective action! Request Reimbursement for WEA expenses incurred during organizing, training, or activism.  This is subject to approval of the WEA Treasurer or designated budget authority. Help manage the WEA through the following committees:  Bylaws & Dues, Nominations & Election, Political Action & Endorsements, Scholarships Loans & Grants, Social Media Outreach, and the WEA Social Committee.   Join the WEA Executive Board or the Representative Council to have a direct vote and lift up the voices of those you represent in WEA Governance. Keep us posted with changes to your personal information, employment status, or work location.
