WEA Annual Meeting, Thursday May 15th, 2025

6:50 pm Admission of Members Please arrive around 10 minutes early to allow us to safely & successfully admit all members. You cannot use a WPS Zoom account, so please make sure to sign on with your own (free) account and… Be Sure To Update Zoom!
7:00 pm Gavel-In Opening remarks from President of Governance Kate Taylor and collective commitments from President of Fiduciary Support Kyle Gekopi
7:10 pm Keynote Incoming WEA President of Professional Representation, Dana Boucher
7:15 pm Voting Check Voting Check:  We use Roberts Rules of Order to Conduct business.  Here’s a Helpful video if you need a refresher.
7:25 pm Act on Bylaws Changes Derrick Genova, BDAC Chair, will present the changes to the Bylaws.  Without objection, the Proposed Changes to the Bylaws (linked here) will be taken up as a whole.  If there is objection, we respectfully request members notify us via email ahead of time.
7:35 pm  Act on Policy Adoptions Per the 2023 Bylaws Changes, the WEA will develop policies of conduct for members and leadership.  These need to be affirmed at an annual meeting within two years of their inception. Without objection, the WEA Policies (link here) will be taken as a whole.  If there is objection, we respectfully request members notify us via email ahead of time.
7:35 pm Fair Five Breakout Sessions Negotiations Chair Pete Ritter will facilitate a short breakout session for discussion of member priorities for next year’s contract negotiations.
7:50pm New Business Members may bring New Business forward to the Meeting.  We use Roberts Rules of Order to Conduct business.  Here’s a Helpful video if you are not practiced.
8:15pm Closing Remarks Chelsea Bailow, outgoing President of Professional Representation
8:30pm Adjourn The Chair will Entertain a Motion to Adjourn the Annual Meeting
