One Union, One Mission
We, the members of the WEA, in order to work for the advancement of education for all Wellesley school children and to fulfill our responsibilities to our profession, do hereby adopt the following:
- To unify and strengthen the teaching profession and to secure and maintain the salaries, retirement, professional teaching status, professional and sick leave, and other working conditions necessary to support teaching as a profession.
- To enable members to speak with a common voice on matters pertaining to the teaching profession and to their individual and common interest before the School Committee and other legal authorities.
